When to wax new paint?
Hi Everybody!
As some may know from mini talk forum, my Mini was keyed last week and also fixed by the dealership same week  . They had to re-paint all the drivers door . I know i should not wax the door for a few days? weeks? months? when is it safe to was it again ? Alos i know it it safe to use quick detailer right? And finally i read on Meguiars web page that it is also safe to use the Deep crystal Polish, is that correct?
Thanks for the help!

You can use a quick detailer now and certainly I would advise shampooing weekly to keep dirt out of the pores. A light waxing of a carnauba is ok as it breathes better, and in fact, dissipates itself in a matter of weeks anyway. Avoid any polymer sealants for about 60 days. Avoid any "polishes" or "cleaner waxes" as they have solvents and abrasives in them.
