Is Zymol Cleaner Wax same as WAX

I know this sounds stupid, but I went to this car store where the guy swore that when I asked for Zymol Wax, he sold me Zymol Cleaner Wax and said it is the wax Zymol makes. Now, i was thinking it was like a paste in a jar. This Cleaner Wax is a white liquid and looks just like my Klasse, Blackfire and other polishes. He said this was not the same. He also said it will take off any roughness. Well-my MC-Chili Red is new and I'm afraid this will scratch my car, (as he made it sound like a liquid clay bar) and it's not the Zymol Wax referenced on this site.

Am I wrong? Thank you....

The two Zymol wax products I have always used are both BLUE (I believe they are considered to be Polish Waxes). One is a liquid form, similar to many other wax lines, and the other is in the tub, which is more like a paste. Interesting...I wonder what you have there. Now you're going to send me off into the internet to find out what you've got!

From the Zymol website, the cleaner wax looks as though it should be blue.

Check it out. www.zymol.com

Is that that stuff made for Zymol by Turtle wax?

The Cleaner Wax is the product that is mass distributed and easily available. It is excellent as a cleaner/polisher. Avoid your black trim like the plauge! or risk getting nasty white residue everywhere.

On the contrary, Zymol's "Hand Blend" or "Estate" waxes are pure carnauba, using yellow and white carnauba blends depending on which model. These highline waxes will never leave white residue on any trim, and have a cult following in the concours classic car world.

Zymol is a NAM sponsor; visit their webpage  http://www.zymol.com/
