Rain Gutter Repair

Has anybody refinished their rain gutter/channel? Mine is looking a bit worn and faded. Thinking of masking it off, sanding it down and re-painting it but not sure what would be best to use. Anybody with any ideas or proven fixes?

Thanks,

Chaney

The black part? It's not painted, it's solid plastic.

I do not know what year your car is, but I was able to get my faded gutters replaced under warranty.

Thanks for the replies. Figured it could be solid plastic but wasn't sure. The texture is wearing away on the front edges and it's looking a bit faded. I'll try the warranty thing 1st and if that fails I'll get some of the stuff from Griots. If it works good on my car I might use it on my own old tired parts. WTH!

Another option is the infamous Plasti-dip rattle can. The stuff is easy to spray on, has a nice rough texture, and very chip resistant.

If they really look bad, I think they're only about $55 each for left and right, and $15 for the
hatch top gutter, plus some clips and screws if necessary.

$65 a piece from Pelican... Then $20 to ship!
Think I'll spray them with bedliner for that price!

The prices I saw were from ECSTuning. Shipping quote is under $8 for all 3 pieces to my
zip code, but I'm only about 320 miles away.

Gen 1 Hardtop gutter trims right here. Also fixes those front ears , that are not separate part #.

#10 for each side.

Link to those and other common replacement trim parts.
