Ok, I got the top end kit for detailing my Mini and was going to give a noobs perspective to your products.

1: Sonax shampoo worked fantastic, just peeled away the grime like any other soap has done, though I am sure I am missing some crafty thing it does for my finish.

2: Klasse All In One worked quite easily, save there is no clarification in the package about what to apply it with. Still, it buffed out everywhere easily and looked nice.

3: The P21S wax was fantastic on most of the car, though I would like to ask if anyone else has issues with it on some decals. The black (decal) checks on my roof look odd as the wax did not want to buff off of them and made that part of the project difficult. The Wax DID NOT however bond to my stripes from Cooper Flags (yay) so that is good news for a bunch of you.

I have not found need to use the spritz yet, but will in time add to this post or thread depending telling how that goes.

I was now wondering what anyone could reccomend to remove the residue from all my older waxes and polishes where they got on the plastic lining of the car. I have the 1Z Cockpit Premium which has not as of yet removed these marks, however it has the interior of my car looking and smelling fantastic.

Ok, wash to get the annoying dirt off the boot as well as the bird droppings from the window and BAM, the shine still pops. Even with the old bucket of wash water from yesterday.

What do you mean by "...not getting swirl marks..."?

When the light hits the car at certain angles it looks like there are swirl marks form my using the spritzer.

I may not be applying it properly.

I cannot photograph it as the camera would need a flash and that would ruin the effect I am trying to take a pic of.

Instant detailers should be sprayed in a very fine mist from about 1 foot away while fanning the bottle side to side.

I'd suggest wiping it off with a microfiber towel. It should take 1 wipe each direction (without any pressure) to remove it. If it takes more wiping than that, you've applied too much.

Hey Forrest!

Yes, most likely if you're getting swirls or other surface marring you have a bad towel. Be sure to use 100% cotton terry cloth or a quality microfiber towel for all drying, polishing and wiping.

Did you also use the All-In-One on your stripes? Or just the wax?

Klasse All-In-One is best applied with a foam applicator. You will have better results using Klasse on the decals. The acrylic resin will bond better and it has a UV blocker.

The Cooper Flags decals just let the wax wipe right off with no fuss at all, the dealer decals were a different story. The paint finishing stuff before the wax itself did wipe off of everything really easily. The wax on the other hand was requiring a little more work, but that was expected. It just did not do too well on my black decals.

"Even with the old bucket of wash water from yesterday."

This could be cause for some of your swirls. In the future I would use clean water for each wash. Also... You may consider using two buckets one for soapy water and one with rinse water. I find this helps reduce chances of swirls as most dirt and grime is left in the rinse bucket and not carried back to the car.

Hope this helps..

SW

Somehow I feel that your suggestion is perhapse a bit excessive. The number of times a week that I wash my car dictates very little dirt at any one time. I believe that the issue with the swirls after the spray on product Sonus High Gloss Acrylic Spritz is most likely due to not using the proper cloth to buff it off. I will use the ones included as I believe I used the incorrect cloth from the kit.
