pressure washer on wheels?

I tried it yesterday and it did a great job removing the brake dust. I used a 2600 psi pressure washer with a 40 degree fan tip. Pros and cons?

should work ok. if you use degreaser alot itll degrade the finish however... and any chipping paint will start a landslide effect of chipping while powerwashing.... also if the brakes are painted (by yourself) then dont expect that to last very long if you blast em.

overall just dont get all up close and you wont damage anything

you can use it on the whole car if its not rediculous...just keep that distance

If it doesn't take the paint off my house when I use it, why should it take the paint off the brake calipers?

i would rather not risk ramming crappage into the sus bits and fender liners so i'd stay away from high pressure.

i just use car shampoo and a boar's hair brush. hydro while i wipe dry with a soft paper towel. works great.

Dunno. from what i've seen even a strong regular hose nozzle can do damage to caliper paint.... Was just sayin dont get it all up in there on it.

And i bet you could take paint off the house if you wanted

Over a year on G2 caliper paint and it still looks new. I keep them clean BY blasting them with a hose. That said, the G2 paint is not your average paint.
