Exactly what sort of nasty are you trying to kill? Saddle soap with fungicides will take care of most bacteria. I have used it on other leather, but haven't had any reason to use it on my MFSW.

not sure if just disinfecting the steering wheel's going to do much... you're going to have to disinfect the door handles, boot gate area so on so forth.

as noted above, i'd just use some Interior Cleaner from Griot's and just
dress it up with their LeatherCare Spray afterwards if it's THAT dirtified... ewww

No problem for me. I don't let anyone drive Artoo. All the germs are mine.

Everytime you open a door to a store/resturant/public building, pump gas and you drive afterwards, you may put germs on your steering wheel. I'm not a germiphobe but every once in a while I like to start with a clean slate so to speak.

I just use the Meguiar's Interior Wipes to wipe down the steering wheel, door handles, and pretty much all the interior surfaces. You'd be surprised how dirty your steering wheel can get!
