What to use to knock the dust off, without washin the whole mini

So, Ive finished washing and lite waxing my mini....and in a couple days from now, if I get some dust or dead bugs in the front...what can I do? I don't want to wash the whole car again...can I use Hydro for dusting ? or something else? Plus, I don't want to scratch the paint with dusting to hard? Thanks or the prima slick? I thought that was for windows only...

i'd use Prima Slick if you must quick detail the car, but california duster might work for you if your car did not get wet from the morning dew or rain. once your car gets wet contaminants kinda bond to your finish so duster wont do a good job...rather it will swirl/haze the finish.

for the frontend bugs, etc, Prima Slick will work great.

Prima Slick is for paint though it can be used on glass. It's primary application is for improving the gloss and slickness of the paint without scratching the paint.

You CAN use Hydro, but Slick is probably a bit safer, since you don't necessarily want protection when cleaning the paint..sometimes you do, and sometimes you don't.

Slick smells wonderful. I love the product.

i really dont know off hand

heres their site
http://www.adamspolishes.com/c-11-detail-spray.aspx

it feels like a polymer based solution to me... really really does wonders on rims and even glass. It really leaves a slick surface w/o being oily on paint, but it doesnt really have that wax feel if ya know what i mean.

And also..thier tire dressing is the best thing ive ever used. I have never had a drop fling off and its got a pretty decent shine to it. Have yet to try anything else

I would ask how dirty was the paint? A light mist on clean paint could be cleaned with a quick detailer like Slick. But if your paint was already dusty/dirty and became misty, you'll have mud and that I wouldn't qd off the paint.

OG Molly gets a bath most weekends and we had a lite showery day, I hadn't done anything yet, but I was wondering at just what degree of shower can I dry Molly off and not hurt the paint. After last night though going through puddles and the road spray I know better than to try and do a quick Slick Dry.

For simple dust while sitting in the garage. I pull out the hose, rinse it off best I can then dry it using Hyrdo and a drying cloth.

I gave up on my car looking clean for longer than an hour a long time ago! By the time I get home from the DIY car wash, the boot is already dusty. By the next morning it has dew drying on the roof, capturing more dust. Add in some birds and bugs and it's spotted again in no time, but hey, it's a car, it gets dirty.

It helps to have a PW car that from 10 feet looks the same whether it has just been washed or has been gathering dirt for a couple weeks, though.
