Mercedes SLK And BMW M3 Demos **OctaneGuy

I got a call from a customer wanting to do his own detailing and wondered what kind of results he could get on his girlfriends SLK and his own M3. We set up an appointment and showed him first hand about claying and polishing using the 7424XP random orbital polisher using Prima Swirl.

The engine was still hot so we put a wet waffle weave towel to cool the paint.

Here I was showing the owner the proper way to clay his paint which he had never done before.

Then a square was taped off and polished to perfection! The owner was floored and was ready to leave with a new polisher, but I didn't have any in stock, so I loaned him a PC to get started while his 7424XP was on order. The following week, I had a meeting out on the westside, so I dropped his 7424XP off and exchanged with the PC I loaned him, and in the process he showed me what he had been practicing all week. I ended up giving him a refresher on proper polishing techniques for about 30 minutes. That's the kind of service I offer to all my customers.

When you support ShowCarDetailing, I'll go out of my way to give you the absolute best possible support in return. I encourage customers who are capable of making a drive to my shop to do so, as you won't be disappointed!

Nice Richard. I bought some BlackWow from you last year, would you swing by and make sure I'm using it right?

Haha! You know what? On my way back from MITM this year, I ended up at Dan's brother in law's house, and did a demo on his prized Mercedes, and he's planning on making a trip from Colorado to see me. Maybe you can come too.

Btw, the significance of this test is that most modern Mercedes paint is VERY hard, and Prima with an orbital can polish it out without problems.

I'm working on something to help alleviate that problem.
