Leaking strut cleanup
My passenger side strut was replaced due to leaking. I notice that there is a lot of baked on black residue on the wheel. Maybe a combination of brake dust and strut fluid? What do you recommend to clean it off the wheel?
Thanks,

Sometimes WD40 works on stuff you'd never think it would work on.

Aerosol brake cleaner works well on many baked on greasy messes ( do get it on painted surfaces).

I would use SimpleGreen 50/50 with water. If this is an aftermarket wheel with anodized finish (or any non clearcoated finishes) I would be very careful not to get any harsh cleaners on that side of the wheel.
Goodluck.
