I did not like their Paint Squeegee - had to wipe it down / dry it after every stroke. It is probably a bit gentler on the paint, but too time consuming for me. Returned it with no problem.
fwiw - I've used armor all wipes in my fender wells with pretty good results.
my $.02
As far as the paint squeegee from Griot's you need to
use it with barely any force on the blade. when you push
down water doesn't squeegee well at all. but ideally
wouldnt want to use it on paint anyways.
as for Armorall.... bad. dont use Armorall. it's just bad.
I love most of Griot's stuff, but I haven't ordered from them lately because their shipping prices to Alaska are outrageously expensive. They used to send non-hazardous items through USPS for me, but they no longer do that now.
I'm starting to run out of supplies - I'm not sure if I should bite the (shipping) bullet, or try to order competitive products elsewhere...

Has anyone else tried Best of Show and can give feedback? thx.
yep, my favorite wax on my hobby cars. it goes on easily, comes off easily. some folks tend to use too much product and have a hard time removing it. just use some Speedshine or SprayOnWax to assist. i personally dont need any speedshine to
remove the wax.
it has a nice warm glow. have some picts in the gallery.

Ken, how does Best of Show compare to Banana Gloss?
Ken, how does Best of Show compare to Banana Gloss?
i do not know, personally. i've never used BG.
i dont have plans to use polymer based sealants on my hobby cars even if it did use a touch of carnauba for the appearance. i like carnauba's appearance, so why not
just use carnauba wax? that is my argument.
now for dd's (daily drivers) i suppose it'd be something worth thinking about, but since im a fan of Hydro BG kind of left itself out in the open and stranded itself.
it's not as convenient as Hydro, yet it's not durable like full polymer (Griot's PaintSealant is wat i use on my dd's), yet it's not full carnauba either.
"promotive" is a perfectly good word.
Perhaps you should look it up before you criticize.
Perhaps I should look it up and perhaps you might look at who did the 'criticizing'. Funky guy outta st. louis named TGS91, hmmm wait a minute, thats me! Bad TGS91, bad TGS91......no premium gas for you tonite

Great stuff, thanks alot. It was a pleasure to follow this thread.
So, I put together a pretty big order (~$500) avoiding combinations, etc.
Just progressing logically from Washing to Drying to Prep to Waxing.
Then, I sent Griot's a note asking:
1, did this seem like I was buying the right stuff
2, since it was a lot of dosh, was I missing any package deals etc.
A great guy named Rob Wood came back & offered a 10% discount if I ordered from him in the next couple of days.
I did so and had a great conversation with a guy who's a true fanatic.
The box of stuff arrived today, latest, greatest orbital will arrive in a few more days.
This will be my summer project. I'll start on my old truck and work my way through all 5 cars, ending with the new Black Convertible S.
never tried Mystique but i hear there's some polymer in there so
if you're using only polymer sealants that's great.
since i use both polymer and carnauba on my different cars i just
stick with Griot's CarWash. i have over 2 gallons of that stuff in
my garage right now.
