The PC is very safe (if I can use it and on drugs after surgery at that anyone can). I looked at the price of the PC and thought - hey, I'll just do it by hand. After trying it once, the price of a pc seemed pretty low compared to a double arm transplant - it's hard work :O

Hi everyone,

Most of the products have arrived and I am starting to get excited (still waiting for BW to arrive and some more MF Skinny Pads, my guess is they should arrive tomorrow)! After reading the posts about how intricate it is to polish by hand, I took my chances and went out and bought a PC (mainly because everyone above was frightening me, at least that’s my current excuse for spending so much… need to think of something better before anyone else sees the bills ). After reading through a few threads it appeared that the PC was relatively safe (as mentioned above) and I’m hoping I won’t find a way to make it the polishing go horribly erroneous. Now that the day for detailing is coming closer I have a few more questions.

The PC came with a polish applicator pad (appears to be a foam applicator), is this OK to apply Amigo with (I will be ordering the pad bundle from DP soon enough, but is the one it came with “safe”?)

I plan to tape the edges of the OEM White Bonnet Stripes but is it ok to apply Amigo/BG to the stripes?

EDIT: Just thought of another question (can't keep my mind off of detailing ). - What OPM should I run the PC at for Amigo? (should I stick with 2500 OPM (lowest setting) to be safe)?

And I’m sure I will come up with some more questions soon.

Thanks again,

Bill
