Prima or Sonus

Forgive me if this has been asked, but all I could find when I searched was something from Octaneguy stating they haven't compaired Prima to Sonus. Has any tried both? I have only used Sonus from Autopia and liked it and their service, but it's time to renew supplies and I was thinking after reading all the good things about Prima I might try it... I have chili red and black 06 and I have a bad bird poop burn in the blk on the roof. Any suggestions on the two products will be helpful.

I haven't used Sonus (although some days it feels like I've tried everything else). But I would heartily recommend that you at least try out some of the Prima line. In particular, try "Clarity" (their glass cleaner), "Hydro" (a wax-as-you-dry product that's phenomenal), and "Banana Gloss" (a wipe-on/wipe-off flash-drying combination synthetic sealant/carnauba wax that can even be applied on hot black paint in direct sunlight and won't stain trim).

Those three products are really "above and beyond" anything else I've ever used. I think I have at least one bottle of everything Prima makes, and all of their products are excellent, but for most of them, they're not "miles better" than similar products from other brands I use, at least not drastically better the way Clarity/Hydro/BG are.

IMHO of course...like Scott said use a few of the Prima Products and see for yourself. I'm a prior Meguire's User. I purchased all new Prima Products before My Molly arrived and I won't go back, there is nothing as easy as Prima in all aspects of application and removal. With the Black Roof and bird droppings you might even try Swirl.

Good Luck and let us know how things 'come out'!! Sorry couldn't resist!!

Ooo. No contest. Sonus was the first stuff I used (their polishes) and there is no comparison. Prima is 100x better. I think I literally gave the Sonus stuff away after using Prima...or else I just tossed it.

See - because you're a woman, your genetic makeup actually allows you to throw stuff out!

I, on the other hand, still have just about every different detailing chemical/tool I've ever tried out, even if I've since found something I like more. I need to give/throw it all away before it goes bad sitting on the shelf.

Wish my wife would think this way! I'm always the one throwing stuff away and getting yelled at! LOL

Anyway, I can't say I've ever used Sonus but have used many other product lines in the past (Mother's & Meguire's,etc) , none of them compare to Prima, not even close!
