Zaino's pretty good so far...
Just applied Zaino yesterday.
-dish detergent wash
-clay (amazing)
- ZFX mixed with Z5
- z2
-gloss enhancer
-z2
-gloss enhancer
...everything is like liquid. My black roof, fuggethaboutit . My retina is burned from the intense color (chili red). On my best wash/wax job, I don't think the color ever popped but that's with a different color car so its hard to tell.
This is my first time using these types of productions. They are very pricey (90 bucks w/shipping) I have yet to see if its worth it. So far, it smelled nice and the gloss is outstanding.
I'm not a wash/wax nut. I do it mostly to get it clean and for protection. I'd rather be doing something else then spend 3-4 hours waxing a car. Hopefully the protection will last a long time.
I didn't go the Prima route because for a long time now, I've read about Zaino (going back years and years). People still rave about it so it must be good. I'm sure Prima is just as excellent with all the raves it gets on here.
Oh, I almost forgot. The best thing, was how small the car was. I could reach half way across the roof . Having owned SUVs, I'd have to climb to reach the roof.

I'm with you on this one... Plus its normally too hot around here to be sweating to death while washing and waxing.
Don't get me wrong..
I do keep my MINI nice and clean inside and out, I wash my MINI about twice a week and clean the rims almost every other day (darn brake dust).

If I recall correctly, the ZFX needs to go into the Z-2, not the Z-5. Z-5 is the filler product and Z-2 is the wax. The accelerator added to Z-2 allows you to layer up to 3 coats within 24 hours without removal of the previous layers.

Nope, instructions state mix the zfx with z-2, z-3 or z-5. If I'm reading it correctly, its a curing agent.

Fair enough. It's been awhile since I used the Zaino system. BTW, I used the Z-CS on my wheels this weekend. Look great and I'm hoping it will withstand the heat and help to release the break dust for awhile.
