How Do I Remove some gunk....
I searched the forum but couldn't find a solution.
I got a new windshield and the installers (BMW) left behind some of the black gunk on my roof and also on my passenger side window. What can I use to safely remove that stuff without hurting my roof or window?
Thanks a lot!
VIcki

That is going to be the glass adhesive and it is gooey and sticky.
If you bring it over Vicky I will see if I got something to get it off.
I would use alcohol first to thin it out (spread it) but it won't get it off. Once it is thinned then Goof Off works pretty well.
PM me if you want to stop by, I'm home all day.

Chuck, I thought I'd try your suggestions before contacting you and coming over and it worked great! No more sticky stuff! I appreciate your help!
Thanks!
