Anybody use a blower to dry?

So does anybody use a blower to dry their car after a wash? I have started using my big echo backpack blower and it takes about 2 minutes to have a car that is 95% dry.

Its also a good method to get it partially dry if you want to use hydro. Sometimes a freshly washed/wet car I find it too wet to use hydro but half dry is great.

I have.

It's especially great for removing water from crevices and grills.

Finally, a 3-season use for a leaf blower!

Yeah, I sometimes have to do the 6 speed blower too --- often during the winter after going to the wand wash.

I use the leaf blower (which I rarely use for leaves ) when I am going to wax the car. I hate it when water suddenly drools out of those crevices as you're waxing an area. I used it today

Have an electric blower that I have used for years to remove the bulk of the water. Then I go over with a microfiber towel. The less contact with the paint, the better. Watch the gas blowers, some of them have a tendency to spit oil out the blowtube, and they can get really loud.

An air compressor works well too, especially if you have moisture/oil traps installed.

I generally leave the paint slightly wet since I use Hydro whenever I dry the car, but the compressor's great for the grille, the "side scuttles" in the A-panels, and the convertible boot hinges.

Right on

I really like the blower for forcing all the water out of that little hole at the bottom of the gas cap. There's a lot in there.

I will use my wet vac, which is also a blower, if it's cloudy out or a bit cool. Oh hot, sunny, days the water dries up too fast to use the blower.
