Prima VS. Zaino

I am new to the form and just recently heard about Prima. I have used Zaino in the past and really like the optical quality, but was not impressed with the durability. I was hoping to get your opinions

Haven't used Zaino but a year or so ago I was trying to decide between Zaino and Prima. Went with the Prima because of ease of use (at least the way it seemed to me). Both I believe are great products and both companies were very responsive to my questions.

I've been very happy with Prima since I started using it. Maybe start out with some Hydro and see how well it works and expand in the line if you like it as you run out of Zaino.

I've used both Zaino and Prima. I believe that they are both about the same as far as durability goes. Mine is a daily driver and I park outside and I was getting almost 6 months with the Zaino and likewise with Prima. I initially went with Prima because I can get it locally - I've stayed with it for the superior wet glossy finish. Additionally I've added more and more Prima product to my routine and have not been disappointed by any. They work so well together and are all top-notch and easy to use. Bottom-line is what you like as far as finish: Zaino = shiny with no depth vs Prima = glossy & deep.

I've used Zaino since I bought my MINI. (almost two years) I've been happy with it. I think it looks great! I'm not a big detail person...so I need something that will last and make it from detail to detail. From what I've read (two years ago), Zaino lasts longer than most. There was some kind of test/research done on waxes and how long they last. It's probably still floating around someplace.

There are good things about both on NAM, but NAM seems to go through phases. When I joined and bought my MINI, everyone was big on Zaino. Things have changed since then. Both are probably great...I doubt you could go wrong with either...just my opinion. And like I said, I'm not a big detail person. Personally, I don't detail for the shine; I do it for the protection. Take care.
