Well I have the MC40 and the stickers on the sides and hood have faded and cracked quite a bit. Any tips on removing them? There all chipped and having a hard time getting off, the side rear ones are not chipped just having a hard time getting off, any tips please?

i would warm them up a little bit to get the adhesive softer and then
gently pull up using my nails. i also have these plastic razor blades so
would use that along with WD40 to assist.
then clean off using some alcohol or my Griot's PaintPrep and wax
afterwards.
Griot's also makes an adhesive remover which might be useful. Ken, have you used that ever?

agreed, any ones i have ever had to do i had to warm up quite a bit with a good hair dryer..NO HEAT GUN as it can discolour your paint if not careful. then goo gone ( easy to find ) then polish like heck to try and match the faded to non faded paint, then wax. lots of work..easy to acomplish though
I've had success with heat (either blow dryer or direct sun on the car for awhile), Goo-Gone gel spray, and plastic razor blades. It's worked for both stripe and decal removal.
I took off a pair of 2-year old bonnet stripes in about 10 minutes.
Blow drier set on medium. Heat about six inches of stripe at a time. Heat it only for about 30 seconds. Pull gently. Heat another six inches. Pull gently...
When I was done, took a little "Goof Off" (same stuff as Goo Gone, I assume) on a microfiber towel (not one of my nicest ones) and rubbed off the leftover adhesive.
E A S Y.
I didn't have any paint discoloration, although the paint under the stripes was nice and swirl-free.
wats with all these crafty folks using googone on their cars?
men use WD40.
I also bake a mean loaf of Banana Bread and I can sew by hand.
But in you really want to question my masculinity, keep in mind that I've been married multiple times (to WOMEN) and I watch every football game I possibly can. Oh... and I've been known to belch at the table and scratch myself in public.
Hey all you studs, back down I found WD-40 in pen form yesterday. Looks like a felt pen, but you can rub with it like an eraser. I have not tried it yet, but it may work well for this kind of thing.

You can buy WD40 at Ace hardware by the gallon, then put it into any kind of applicator, spray, drop, or wipe it on with a rag.
