cleaning Windshield

Ok since the past few days I have noticed that the windshield (with brand new wipers) is not that clean. I do use clarity every time i wash my car (once a month) but somehow everytime the wiper moves, there are spots of "haze" .. which go away in a second..

What can I do to make sure it goes back to being brand new again? I had used hydro on it once (did i make a mistake)

Windshield solution

Try Stoner's Invisible Glass. (I prefer the foam spray.)

Might be a bit old school, but I take mine off with newspaper.

Plan on about 3 passes. Let it haze, then buff it off.
(Don't forget the inside, too)

As for the new wipers, use a bit of Aerospace 303 Protectant to keep them clean and smooth.

Best of luck. Motor on.

I polish my glass with Swirl on a white pad then Epic the glass. Day to day I use Clarity and I seldom have to use my wipers - rain just beads.

My windshield had those greasy wiper trails that did not want to come out easily, no matter what I tried.
I used the GLASS SCRUB with my Flex 3401 and a white 3M foam compound pad at slow speed (#2), and my steamer to wet the windshield and clean it off. It took less than 5 minutes to do the whole winshield, and it came out really nice and beautifully clear.
No more trail marks whatsoever, when sprayed with the steamer afterwards (steam easily reveals any tracks of grease or dirt - it's like new now).

I picked it up in the automotive section at Wal-mart.

Glass scrub and Rainx sound like a good idea

I will use the scrub first on next wash and then use Rainx to finish it up

If that doesn't work then I will try to use the invisible glass and may be more hydro..

I dont have swirl and PC so i wont be able to polish it :(

Clay works good.
Just use your old paint clay on the windshield like on the paint. I have found this as effective as most chemical cleaners. My $.02

+1...I clayed my windows and used Aquapel immediately after and the difference was HUGE. The clay gets all the crud out of the little sandblasted ruts and makes the window look so much cleaner!

I actually used Clarity and scrubed and scrubed and scrubed

Its much better. It rained today and I used the wipers. I can really see the difference. I need to either get the scrub or clay. i will go with the clay. I need to get particles which seem to be stuck to the paint out. So first I would use the clay on paint and then on the windshield (ofcourse i wont use it on paint again. I will keep this one for windshield)
