Ding or crease? help!!!

Ok I dont know if its a ding or crease or whatever..

But on the drivers side.. on the panel with the silver and red "S" sign.. just below the windshield.. i see some dingish thing.. it very small and i see paint change over in certain reflection at an angle.. its like a very small line .. I m not sure when it occurred .. i hate to think on these lines but I recently got my wipers replaced from the dealer.. thats when it might have occurred.. but not sure.. i just noticed today

I can't feel it with fingers.. and theres no paint damage at all (and trust me I looked closely ) ... i park really far from others .. and it cannot be door ding in any way.. as it towards the top .. just below windshield..

the paint surface looks fine too .. could it be that the panel had a defect and it was painted over? I m going to the dealer tomorrow and show them... i really doubt PDR would remove it.. its a reall faint line.. and I m not even sure if its a dent..

Perhaps a better picture would help. I would try buffing the spot a bit, then using a nano wax. If you cannot feel a dent, it has to be in the paint.

This is an old picture.. i just used it to show the location.. i will try to take a picture and see if i can capture it on camera.. but

I dont mind as long as it is in the paint .. dont need a dent

I also checked for rock chips or any thing that might cause it.. but there is absolutely no paint damage in that area.. no small chip or anything

OK. It seems like it is a ding .. more like a crease

The Dent wizard guy removed most of it. However, there is some left. When I took my car back he had left for the day, so I m going to show him tomorrow and hopefully level off the panel..

Man! this just sucks! Y r people so inconsiderate

I think sometimes it's worth that first agonizing ding just to find a good shop to work with should such evil befall your MINI ever again. Mine came via a hailstorm...but my PDR guy has artfully bailed me out numerous times since.

welll.. at the location i mentioned.. it appears that it must have been caused by stress.. if its so .. it might appear again

The dent wizard guy did a fantastic job (at mini of towson).. however... there was a small scratch on the black trim on the front..

i guess.. there is no such thing as perfect.. and its a car.. its bound to have some scratches over time.. (please agree with me ! )

btw, is there a way to remove or cover up that scratch on black trim.. its not a big deal.. i m thankful to mini for providing that black trim .. with body color trims.. its awful to maintain them and it just breaks your heart when it scratches (and they do a lot! )

black crayon?

PDR is a best effort repair without using the bodyshop...that's the philosophy.
anyway yes, especially on a dailydriven car who cars about little scratches
here and there. my cars all have some kinda imperfection on the paint
just from regular wear/use.
