Spray wax????

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Black Magic express spray on wax?

http://www.blackmagicshine.com//prod...ress-spray-wax

A friend at work told me about it and said it is amazing, but I'm wondering if it is safe to use on vinyl?

I got some as a give away at a car show , it was OK I'd not say it was a true wax substitute more a quick detailer ....
The Spray Wax I've used and liked is the NXT Spray wax

Yeah that does sound good...the only problem is it also needs a good quick detailer cuz the description says it should not be used as a quick detailer as well...have you noticed any problems with that? or do u just spray some water down then do this stuff?

although i dont use Hydro as a QD, it can be. there's a lot of people here
that use Hydro as a QD and as a spraywax.

on my dd's Hydro is the base wax. can't compare this stuff with other
spraywaxes as most of them just wash off. hydro cures onto the paint
for weeks.... literally 3+ weeks for daily driven cars parked out doors 24/7.

I use Hydro as a QD on my A-pillar covers, because it does such a great job of filling the micro-scratches that always seem to pop up there between my polishing sessions. For a QD on the rest of the car, I use Prima "Slick". I use Hydro on the entire car every time I wash it.

For a synthetic wax/sealant, I use Epic, but honestly, I go so long between applications of Epic that most of my protection/shine is probably coming from the Hydro, and it looks *great*.

Cool sounds like I may switch to hydro

Right now I am using Griots Garage spray on wax and I am pretty pleased with that, but I guess I will have to get some hydro and see how they compare

Has anyone else used the griots garage spray on wax?

Griot's SprayOn wax is great stuff. i use it on my hobby cars... cars
that aren't driven in bad weather conditions. i use Best of Show
once a year and just SprayOn wax the rest of the time. that's
wat i use on my MCS.

on my dailydrivers though, i dont feel like spending time cleaning and
waxing it all the time so just use Hydro. it's a great all-round product.
it does not have the slickness of SprayOn wax, nor that immediate
glory feeling. SprayOn wax is like pampering carnauba waxes as last
step process.

Hydro comes alive after it cures completely the next day. the finish
has super lustor. everyone thinks i spend hours waxing the cars all
the time...but in reality 5min tops. personally, i dont think hydro
feels all that slick....yes, slicker than not having wax on it, but Slick,
the QD feels real slick.

i would use Hydro on your dd's. if you use polymers on your hobby cars
i would recommend Hydro or SprayOn wax over your polymers. SprayOn
wax imho is a LSP product.

LSP?
the MINI is my everyday car and is kept outside...so would you say it would be better to keep griots for normal washes and use hydro for QD or just use hydro for QD and final spray on wax after good detailing?

Thank you

LSP: last step process (or product)

if i was to use both Hydro and Spray On wax i would use Hydro while
wiping down the car and use it as the base wax on a daily driver.

then, i would go back and SprayOn wax it the following day as a
QD. sprayon wax has super lubricity and therefore minimizes swirls.

but on a dailydriver you probably wont need a top coat over Hydro
as it's got super lustor and QD'ing adds more swirls. i dont QD my
dd's. i just wash it once a week or whenever i get a chance, weather
permitting.

Cool thank you

Yeah with being so busy with school and work, I'm lucky to get a wash in every 3-4 weeks which sucks and has only been lately...but I usually break in and am able to do a QD...like this night i did a nice wash and sprayon wax and I feel so much better about it

Well if you have a dark car, don't try NXT, I just did my midnight blue porsche and it looks all streaky, I had to use a lot more elbow grease to get them out than if I would have just pulled the Zymol Carbon out of the fridge and used it.

with hydro you wont get streaks even on a damp day.

with SprayOn wax you have the potential to get streaks on a damp day.
i would go over it at the very end with a fresh dry MF for sprayon wax.
