R53 Emblems - Pins or Glue?

Just wondering what was pinned and what was glued on the R53. I'm guessing the hood/trunk Mini are both pinned, and the CooperS is glued. Is that correct?

When I removed my front emblem prior to installing clearbra, I found that it was fastened by tape and it was also pinned. I would guess the wings on the hatch are similar. "Cooper S" on the tailgate is taped on.

accidentally mount it vertically.

The winged MINI emblems have 2 alignment pins that fit into 2 holes about 5 mm in diameter. The tape holds them on. The chrome lettering is just taped.
