Clear Bra - Entire Front or Kit only?

Hi -

I'm considering getting Clear Bra installed. I have a quote for $550 using a standard kit which he said would cover about 1/4 of the bonnet. Plus $50 for the lights. He also does a full front wrap for an additional $300.

Is it worth it to do the full front? Or, is the standard kit good enough to protect it?

Thanks!
KC

I have the film that goes 1/4 way up...if I could do it over I'd get the full wrap - I have a few chips (very small, and totally touch-up-able) above the line of the film.

I'd check into something though - my understanding is that the hood on the new 07/08s gets VERY hot around the scoop. So I'd be curious to know if that's true in your case (if you have an 07/08 MCS) and if so, if that heat would damage the film. If so, then I'd be asking what sort of warranty is offered by the installer, or just go with the 12-inch film.

yah, heat can cause yellowing too, so i would not put it on a lighter colored car... just to be on the safe side.
