Detailing or OT Dog talk?

I was not sure where to post this, decided here, will put a link to it in Dog talk also.

I ordered some Grit Guards from OctaneGuy on Thursday, they arrived today. I ran right out to Lowes and found some new buckets that are a perfect fit.

I also picked up some new weatherstripping for the back door. I got home, put the buckets and guards away, and started to install the weatherstripping. As I'm working on the door, I hear an "OH NO" Well it seems that Richard sent a small Black Wow sample, that I missed putting away. Well Sadie, the little rescue dog we have, decided it would be good to chew on. Needless to say all hell broke loose, what's in that stuff, will it kill her, what do we do!!!

I got on the phone right away, called Richard, and got a hold of him, told him what was going on. Lois got on another phone, called her brother(poyzin here on NAM) a poison control expert, and we determined what it was made from, and would not hurt her. Needless to say there were a few anxious moments there.

Sadie is fine, but she has one very shiny black nose, and soft slick whiskers.

Richard, thanks for the fast info, Sadie is fine, her poop chute is probably well lubed, but we have all calmed down now.

Mark

Sorry for the scare. Yeah, Black Wow is very safe in all aspects--so I'm sure nothing to worry about. I try to include BW samples in most NAM purchases shipped in the USA. Sorry for the scare and glad everything is alright!

Richard

No problem Richard I should have checked that I had the sample put away.

She just ate dinner, all is fine

Wow, that sounds horrible - I've gone through that 'my dog has been poisoned' scare (and emergency vet - who did nothing) so you have my sympathy.

Glad to hear it ended okay and there is nothing bad in the BW - maybe she thought it said Bow Wow :P

Now you can just occasionally Nero her nose to keep it looking like new!

I'm thinking job opportunity.

What better marketing...rescue pooch with cute black nose in the label of Black Wow. Obviously, it is "pet safe" and can be labelled as such.
