I like to use Dupont Final Klean, a professional auto paint shop product, when I want to get everything off the paint. This will take the wax off and also get most of the bugs/other surface scum off the paint. Final Klean is a more environmentaly friendly product compared to the old Dupont standby of Prep-Sol.
