Anyone use NXT tech wax 2.0?

Just curious if anyone has tried NXT tech wax 2.0 and wouldn't mind sharing their opinion of it.

Thanks,
Mike

I used it, I have yet to comment on the durability yet, I just applied it around 1.5 weeks ago?

I tried it last summer and didn't like it at all. Still have the bottle in the garage.

Just did my Pure silver on Friday. Shine was incredible and the color was real deep. I took the car to Cars-and-coffee and got compliments on it. Not sure if I would say it is much better than regular NXT.

Pardon the interruption...

Sorry, but what's Cars and Coffee? These are my two favorite things, I'm in SD too, and I might be interested...

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I have not used the 2nd gen NXT, but have used the 1st gen. My main complaint with it is that it makes the black trim white, so lots of masking tape is involved, hopefully the new stuff does not do that.

I've used/am using the 1st NXT on my wife's car and it lasts quite long it seems. She parks outside at work. I use the Meguirs quick detailer (QD) on it as well and it looks shiny for a long time. It does whiten black trim as Lotsie has said, but her car doesn't have much black trim so it works fine.

(She asks: "How come you use that Zaino stuff on your car and this stuff on mine? )

I'm having trouble finding epic comparisons to NXT 2. NXT is just a little easier to get for those with little patience since I can get it off the shelf.

DarrenO'sideCA,

Cars and Coffee is a weekly meeting of cars at the Ford headquarters in Irvine, CA. All kinds of cars show up there. From Ferraris to Yugos. There is always a bunch of Minis there. Its free and lots of fun. Every week they honor a car manuf. Last week was BMW there there were thousands of cars ther. Do a search here at NAMM and at Southern California Mini Maniacs www.clubscmm.com There are also a bunch of web sites dedicated to it. http://www.cars-and-coffee.com/

PS, I too live in Oceanside (O'side). Look for my Mini. Its a Pure Silver with LAASER on the license plate.

-Michael

I picked up Meguiar's 7 piece ultimate car care kit at Walmart in the states for $24.77 . Best deal I've gotten on detail products since this obsession started. It includes Nxt tech wax 2.0, scratch x, Utimate quick detailer, wheel cleaner and tire gel. All Great products.

I've always loved the look of nxt but the shine disappears in a couple weeks. The Meguair's lovers say this lasts much much longer and better if you use the Ultimate quick detailer in between waxes.

Just found a walmart that carried that kit. Got one to try.. at 24.77, its a pretty cheap way to try their products. Now if only the rain in the bay area would let up.

I tried nxt 2.0 on the MINI today. I like the look and it does a pretty good job of hiding minor defects and seemed to bring out the metalic. To be fair, a month ago I polished with amigo and used epic, so this is kind of a topper to an already nice finish. I love my new mirror caps, too

Oh my dear friend, it did make the trim white. Thats why I switched to Zaino, so I would not have to do this.

It took as long to mask, as it did to apply product
