Ok, I got home this afternoon, and there by the door was a box. Inside that box was what created the rest of this part of a story.
Like I had said, I was going to do some tests around my MINI.
Front fender; I taped it off, dawn washed the Zaino off and applied. The end result was VERY slick. Felt like the rest of the bonnet, with multiple coats of Z. All applied about a week ago.
On the roof, I again stripped off the Z. Sorry it's fuzzy, getting dark
Then on the boot, I left the Z, and just applied like a topper. The Banana Gas went on easy, once I had the pad primed with product, which did not take much, using a good terry applicator pad.
Here is the product drying, after a couple of minutes. The temp was 60F, and the humidity was around 45%.
It did not dry on contact.
So, do I like it. Well it went on easy, wiped off very well.
I used very little of the 2 oz. Could do the whole car at least twice I think with the sample.
Wow I'm jealous, no sample for me yet, lol. Sorry no go on Banana Wow. I already claimed BW.
How about Banana Glow (BG)? LOL

It was 52 degrees in my garage when I started & 50 when I finished. It dried & hazed up pretty fast for such a cold temp. It was very easy to apply with a foam pad & wiped right off with a monster fluffy. All in all I'm happy with the results. It doesn't seem to clean much, but my car was clean, so that was hard to really tell. As for staying power, dad always told me "easy on easy off", time will tell. The best thing about Banana Wow is that it comes right off the black trim.
I'll post back in a couple of weeks & let you know how it's holding up.

We've always wondered about the Dawn removal of Zaino too. I know Zaino says it will remove it, and they of course would know best! However, Dawn won't remove Epic so I don't know how it could remove Zaino. And in practice, we've had a hard time removing it with Dawn.
To be absolutely certain, like umberto, I always recommend removing any synthetic with 50/50 alcohol/water.
Then again, you noted that the paint didn't feel slick after washing then I would guess it's gone too. So, who knows?? Either way, we like having a lot of variety in our testing anyway so it works for me!
As of 1:30pm EST today, anyone in the U.S. who has emailed us with a Banana Gas test sample request (and who has included their address in the email! ), has been shipped a sample today or earlier.
We still have test samples left (we made a TON), so if anyone else is interested please follow the instructions in the original post. Just be sure to include your shipping address in your email! (it's surprising how many people forgot this part... )
I just sent an email. I can strip my Deep swax off one fender & that will be a mostly vertical surface for testing. I can test it along side the deep swax over the winter to see how they compare. I am very excited because I am carnauba lover
Just curious though, if there is a bit of carnauba in it does that mean that you cannot use hydro on it for maintenance since hydro does not adhere over carnauba?
Also I love the name banana wax & don't think you should even consider changing it

Plus, we like variations in customer testing anyway! So, if you, or anyone else, wants to try Hydro over Banana Gas, then please do!

Say if you tested using hydro over carnauba & the hydro washed right off without adhering... how would you even know? I mean your finish would bead with carnauba only & it would bead with hydro so how would you tell if the hydro was there or not?

I requested a sample to test side-by-side with Klasse SG. That's not really a fair comparison, at least for application, since everything applies more easily than SG! We'll see how it lasts, though.
Question about "safe for trim." What does that mean? For example, people have long said that Klasse AIO won't stain trim, but I've found it is still difficult to deal with once it gets on there. How does BG react with plastic trim?

Received my sample yesterday. Temp in the low 40's, overcast. Wanted to just try some out. 2001 Suburban hadn't been washed for a while, was clayed about 4 months ago, no wax. The hood had contamination on it that would not wipe off with a mf. Wondered if Banana Gas has any cleaning properties. Oh yes, did a very respectiful job of taking the contamination off the one square foot I tried it on, almost felt like I had clayed the area. Then went over the a 1998 Q 45 with a warm hood, cleaned the dead bugs off the hood very easily. On the initital trial it cleaned better than any other local bought store wax. Ran out of time to try more. Want to play more with it Thursday and see what it does on a bigger area. Might do a wheel with it and see what brake dust does or doesn't do.

Well I gave it a try, it did not streak, and seemed to go on as normal. Not sure how well it is bonded, but I see no clouding.
Test area
Car was clean, but I spritzed some water on the area then sprayed on some Hydro.
Dried and buffed up
I also put some BG on a part of one of my wheel arches, and it did not seem to stain it
Got my sample today! Thanks Heather and Nick! Will be doing lots of testing with it.

An update to putting BG on black trim. When I first put it on nothing looked different, but just before it got dark out, 4 hours after I put it on, the area looked "dull", but no white stuff. I'm sure some Black Wow will fix that.
