303 Protectant Rocks!!

I just detailed my interior and I still have some touch up (there are a lot of tight spaces in the 07 MCS.) But this stuff is the best stuff i've ever used. It looks nice and clean and new, but not glossy. PERFECTO! If you don't have some get some.

+1 303 is great stuff. I use it all over the house too...knife handles, kids Crocs, PS2 casing, and on, and on.

kenchan = spokesperson for Prima

303 is still the best... doesn't shine like others, but protects like nothing else!

I like the satin look on trim pieces and the interior panels that 303 gives. Gloss finishes on those just looks greasy to me.

DP specifically benchmarked the 303 for Nero and made it even better
by removing the gloss even more.

kyriian is right, i do sound like some spokesman....
i cant help myself promoting cool products.

Would you care to provide a link or something to this benchmark? DP makes no mention in the description of nero about 303.

I had to post about 303 because for years I have just cleaned up with water and a towel, because I didn't like the "armor all" look. But now I can clean and protect with confidence.

Oh I know. I was just letting you know that I am glad I don't have to use the water method anymore. And I might just try the Nero after I run out of the 2 bottles of 303 I bought. I'm always up for trying new stuff. In fact I just switched my wax from meguires to adams polishes. I like it so far, it's actually enjoyable to work with. Anyone else heard of them or use them? www.adamspolishes.com

I'm a 303 fan. I love how it works on interior trim. I'm also trying it on my tires as an experiment. I want a no-gloss/satin tire but haven't found the exact product yet.

303 Aerospace Protectant is great.

The last time I checked though (a couple of years ago, I think), it wasn't widely available. Here in St. Louis, it was only available at a small spa/pool shop. Fortunately, that shop is close to my home, so can't complain. (The price was cheaper than buying online.)

I do have an open mind, so when my current bottle runs out, I will try Nero, OK Kenchan?

yeah i know what you mean

you might want to take a look at meguair's gel tire gloss... i know i know, but one coat and it can last quite awhile... which is what i like about it

more on that... the gloss is up to you... less=1 coat, and once the coat sets, it gives a very matte finish

I'll look into that. I also see that Meguiar's Natural Shine claims to be non-glossy.

Griot's Garage "Vinyl & Rubber Dressing" is my favourite satin-finish tire dressing. I use Prima's "Nero" for the interior vinyl bits and the exterior trim since I like the low-gloss finish it gives, but the one time I tried it on the tires, it literally looked like I hadn't put anything on them at all - the tires just "slurped" the Nero up and still looked bone-dry and dull.

I use 303 on my leather furniture in the house. I use Nero on the interior/exterior vinyl of my MINI. I use 4-Star tire gel on my tires.

See, you CAN use all three, ha...

for tires ive had great luck with Meg Insane tireshine in the spray bottle.

easy to apply (just use a little bit) and it will be a nice slightly shiny but
not too glazy donut finish. obviously if use your more you'll get more shine.
Vroom applicators work great! and no, it does not fling onto the panels.

the gel was not good at all imho. it's too blobby to apply, flings on the
panels if you're not careful. you have to use considerably longer time
to apply...which is a nono.

303 Aerospace Protectant is my second favorite vinyl cleaner/protector, I prefer Nero only because it smells better. I believe the 303 product actually has more UV blocker than Nero, but since I use it weekly I'm not too concerned.
I still like Wizard Black Renew for tires with the Zaino Z-16 a close second. Exterior trim is OG's Black Wow 2 or 3 times/year with the Wizard or Zaino in between.
ML - is the 303 meant to be used on leather? You should try Prima Nourish, I really like it the most for the leather in the wife's Expedition. Doesn't smell too leathery (like Zaino's Z-10) and leaves a very soft satin sheen.

I used to use 303 on the interior but switched to Pinnacle for the smell. I still like 303 for the trim pieces outside.

I've been using Meg's hot tire shine for wheels, but I just picked up some new tire gel applicators so now I can hopefully go back to using my beloved Black Onyx. Just apply a thin coat and then wipe it in 10 minutes and it gives the perfect Satin look I want.

I hope these applicators work well. This is the 5th different type I've tried

Most R/V outlets carry it also.
