Ok, so I looked at several sites that people had listed here for touch up paint for MINIs. But I can't find my color on any of them... My MINI's "Black-Eye Purple Metallic." Should I just call the dealer to get it or is there somewhere else?

Another shout-out to Autovisuals. Got their touch pens and used them yesterday on some difficult stone chips. Following their instructions I applied the pens - very simple and perfect color match. I can't even see where the chips use to be!
Be sure to use primer before the touch up paint. After that, I would wet sand with 2500 grid, and then compound it. MAKE SURE your touch up is dried (I say wait for 1-2 days). If you are new to wet sand, Langka is good too.

I agree! We've seen consistent perfect color matching from Autovisuals. In fact, we're thinking about adding them to our site (once we figure out how best to do that with all the variations!). In the meantime, we definitely endorse them because of their quality (not to mention their "pen" style is easy to use!).
I picked up the mellow yellow for mine from the dealer. It came with 2 bottles, one with the yellow, one with clear coat. I've used it too and it matched perfectly.

I picked up Chili Red from my dealer. Not even a close match .
How many pesos does the dealer want for touch up paint?

I'm also going to recommend Autovisuals. I've never had any other touch up paint that was so easy to use. The pen is very convenient, even if you're just using it by itself. I also think it's a really good match (even for metallic paint). Much better than any other touch-up paint I've seen, even stuff from dealers.
I was just wondering if anybody has used a touch up pen or anything else to fill in small scratches on their mini, how well they worked, and how difficult it was to do.
The touch up paint from MINI comes in a small bottle, with a brush as part of the lid. Don't use the brush to apply the paint, as you get way to much paint and end up with big blobs. What I do is use a tooth pick, I get the paint onto the tooth pick with the brush. Multiple thin coats is way better than one heavy one. You will have less smoothing to do, and it dries faster. The MINI touch up paints come with a bottle of clear coat also.

I have used this for small chips, but no scratches yet:
I do the Langka after the paint blob dries, being sure to take it down to slightly below surface to leave room for the clear. Then I do it again for the clear.
