Which comes first: Hydro or Epic?

Quick question I'm sure somebody brilliant can answer in one post.

I just got my starter kit bundle doohickey from Detailer's Paradise (I thought they should relocate to Key West, but that's another thread). In it, is Hydro and Epic. I'm chomping at the bit to get a-going here...!

Which one of these "waxes" should I use first...Hydro or Epic?

I know Hydro is the wet version and Epic the more labor intensive dry version. The MINI is a scant 10 days old and I want to strip the wax that the dealer put on and start again.

I'm not even going to wait for my thumbless wool wash mitt that is on backorder, either...away I go tonight!

i use EPIC about once every month and Hydro in between. Hydro is a wax and so is Epic..i dont see a need to apply both at the same time. Apply Epic today and use Hydro to maintain the Epic.

Do Epic first. Then Hydro over it.

Epic once a month is pretty excessive. It lasts 4-6 months with one coat.

I Epic once every 5-6 months, then Hydro with my weekly washes.

i noticed on my commuters that it takes Hydro about 3 apps to get
to the max protection... meaning, 3 washes and apps once every week...

after that, the shell is super protective.

i suppose you could Hydro 3 times over 3 days and get the same
super strong level of protection. im not sure why that is... perhaps
Hydro is layerable?

the one Hydro app i did on my civic the other week (before Epic) did not
bead/sheet water as strongly as my legacy which gets its weekly dose
of Hydro.
