Griots Garage + Out Motoring Q+A

OutMotoring.com now carries a cross section Griots Garage Car Care Products, which we consider to be one of the best and most complete lines of car care products available. We are proud to be one of the VERY few (as in a handfull) approved suppliers of their line and use it on our own Project cars and have seen it in action for many years.

To help answer any questions about the products we offer please post your questions here. If there is something that don't have you would like to see on our site, please let us know and we will get it in for you.

Here is a link to Griots Line on our site:

Here is one of the coolest products they make:

And a fantastic guide to car care here:

Order away. I have a bundle of Griots stuff waiting for a new owner.....

I must say, the Griots line is fantastic. I have been using it my personal cars for a while now and basically threw away the other random cleaning products that I had been using or gathered over the last 17 years of car cleaning and have no regrets. Now I get to walk by a fully stocked Griots section of our warehouse numerous times a day and make lists of stuff I 'need'.....

Sorry, our agreement with Griots prohibits messing with pricing.....the product is well worth the price though!

aaron- do you plan on getting garage accessories as well?

and, also, would we be able to use the discount codes we
get from Griots if we were to purchase from you?

Im in the market for the wall mount fire extinguisher Griot's sells.
would you be able to get those? 2 units.

SKU: 26850

I will most likely hold off on the garage accessories for a while until I see how the Car Care product line does before going deeper into the line.

I may be able to get some stuff on special order depending on my ordering schedule.

I may take some pics some day....although I have a lot of those really soft brushes from Maquiars that were discontinued.....I bought about a dozen of each of them as backups for the next 10 years of detailing.

I really like your bucket system. I need to do that to keep all my towels separated. Very cool.

yah, actually there is a shelf above the cart which stores another portion
of my detailing supplies...and other junk. i like the Griot's cart
for it being so compact, easy to use, and just perfectly fits those
shoebox-like containers (available at Target). keeps dust out,
organized, and just overall easy to use as it's stackable.

i have a non-caster cart about the same size as the Griot's cart in
my utility room that stores my gallons from Griots and Prima.

i have these screw guides i drilled into the Griot's cart to keep the
boxes aligned. keeps it organized even when i roll it over bumps.

i was thinking about getting a 2nd cart, but that one unit and the
shelves does it for me.

i also use the Griot's utility cart all the time. such a great unit.

If anyone has any questions about a Griots Garage Car Care product, please post them here. As many of you know, they have one of the best product lines on the market and products like Speed Shine and Best of Show Wax and their Random Orbital Polishers are industry standards. If you have yet to try their stuff, now is the time.

Oh -- excellent -- I was just going to ask for some basic suggestions on what to get -- your kits are perfect. Now to get the car...

For real, those are so cool....until you outgrow it and it becomes your 'portable/travel' kit......trust me, the more you get into caring for your cars, you will find that you will soon need a cart(s) or a dedicated storage place in your garage for all your stuff.

For the average enthusiast, this bag is a perfect solution that will hold nearly everything one may need to take care of his car, aside from a bucket...

I have one It's perfect for when I want to haul up to the in-laws to use their shady driveway.

Thank God that's not very often...but that's another story entirely...

I need a bag to carry all my cleaning stuff for car shows. I have a regular cardboard box right now and it's not very organized at all.

Will the outside pockets in the "carry bag" hold the 16-oz Prima spray bottles?

Sadly, for the next two years I'm 3,000 miles away from my garage and most of my detailing supplies, but I still brought enough of my stuff with me that I sure could use a bag like that to hold it all.
