What to use for Hydro

I recently bought some Prima Hydro. As far as I can tell it works well except for one minor thing. I can't polish it on "as a light coat". I use one of my cheapo microfiber cloths I bought from Wal Mart but it just soaks all the Hydro up. What should i use?!

Just spritz it on as you dry. Thats probably the best way to get a nice thin coat (2-3 spritses per body panel)

Or maybe try a more plush MF? It seems counter-intuitive, but both my waffle-weave drying towels as well as my monster fluffies work really well with Hydro.

drying MF towels work best with Hydro, from my experience. the other
towels are too absorbent, or it absorbs but gets too messy for a quick
Hydro app.

unless ofcourse, if you use hydro like QD, then you're fine with Platinum.

If you Hydro while you dry the MF towel soaks up water and Hydro so after a couple of wipes the hydro gets spread around and not absorbed. Doing it while the car is slightly wet makes it easier on the whole.

Wait, I'm still confused. I feel kinda stupid but I'm not catching on. Do I dry and then just spray it on and let the Hydro just dry on?

Depends, usually it refers to Micro Fiber, but in certian cases it can refer to a Monster Fluffy (a Micro Fiber towel offered from Detailers Paradise.) In this thread MF is refering to Micro Fiber.

No, you have to still wipe dry, don't let the Hydro airdry.

No. You leave the car wet, spray Hydro on (a panel at a time), then dry the car. As you dry, it works the Hydro into the paint. You won't see anything other than dry, shiny car.

MF = microfiber

After using Mytique I find most of the water from my rinse stays on the car. Too much to Hydro. So, I lightly squeegee the roof and bonnet first. Then I Hydro.
