Hey there, For my mom's birthday I wanted to make her a "mini" detailing kit for our MINI. I know that "Back to Black" is good for the black trim, but what else should I include in it? I'm sort of a detailing virgin, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Peanut Butter for the wax overwipes we all leave on the black trim. ...No really - do a search on Peanut Butter in these forums. It will get a laugh from her and it works really well!

Also, Simple Green seems to get a lot of talk for wheels.

Ok, must have items for a "detailing basket":

-Stoner's Invisible Glass
-100% USA Cotton towels or microfiber towels
-Spray detailer of some kind...like Meguiar's Final Inspection or Quick Detailer
-303 Aerospace protectant
-Leather interior? Get some Zymol leather conditioner and cleaner
-ChemDry carpet cleaner
-California Car Duster
-Meguiar's Deep Crystal Cleaner, Polish and Wax system is a cheap/good combo pack to get as far as waxes go
-Horse hair detail brush, great for the nooks and crannies inside when dusting, like around the speedo and such
-Chenille wash mit for body, seperate for wheels/underbody

I could go on, but that list already covers Birthday, Xmas and Chanukuh.
