What to use inside for detail/cleaning

Used Hydro twice and Mistique and like the results. Been using Meguires interior detail and I am not to sure about it. Seems spotty. I would like an all purpose interior detail spray, all in one for piano black, leatherette for the seats, dash and I also have english oak. Not shiny, just natural and high quality.

Thanks

I think the Meg's interior QD is fine for cleaning (like when you have a spot or something to remove, or actual dirt on the seat maybe)...but as far as condition/dressing, you'd want something different. I honestly don't know if you'll find something that does all of that. I assume the english oak is shellac'ed, in which case you could use Slick/Hydro on that and the Piano Black. But on the seats/dash you want something to condition the vinyl, and for that you'd want something like Nero.

wait, speedshine on the interior? Use it as a cleaner or in step of Vynil and rubber dressing?

distilled water on a microfiber will clean most any interior surface and leave no residue behind

Scurves- yep, give it a try next time. . It actually works very well for quick cleaning rubber, plastics, painted surfaces. Even leather.

Yeah - I use Meg's Interior QD for a quick dusting of everything...

But with paint AND vinyl AND leather in my interior, I have to use a variety of products for the good cleaning/conditioning.

My current favs are:
Nero for dash top, door panels, other vinyl/plastic.
Hydro for painted panels
Griott's Leathercare spray for leather

Leaves the paint shiny and swirl-free, and the other stuff nice and matte.

Hum, I am going to have to give that a try. I was told it may work well on tinted windows.

not sure about glass, as SpeedShine will streak a little bit until you
go over it again with a dry towel.

i recommend Clarity for tinted windows. yesterday i was cleaning
up my $350+ RC transmitter with Clarity.

Good point..lots of products have very straightforward cleaning requirements. For general purposes, don't we risk overcomplicating things?

you have to remember most people have oil and dirt on their hands
especially outdoors. not everything will clean off with just water.

i use M40 or M39 by Meguiars to clean the surface first, and then top it off with Meguiars Natural Shine.

I find it works best if you put the product onto an applicator pad and rub that on the surface and then wipe off excess with a clean MF.
