While watching a race on Speed Channel yesterday from Limerock, one of the announcers mentioned that many of the race teams used dishwashing liquid on the front windshields (rubbed on the inside) and driver's visors to prevent fogging (it was raining during the race). And they mentioned that this was fairly common practice.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this because I've never heard of this before.
