Oh... my checkmate seats

I managed to leave the window down just enough while washing Max to allow the soap suds to get inside on the seat... not seeing it until it had soaked into a portion of the seat... leather is okay but now I have a stain along one side of the seat.

What's the best product to use to clean the seats ?

Yes I know... close the @^#*&*@$ window next time!

I really like the Zaino products for leather care. I use them on my wife's Expedition and they clean well and smell better. I'm sure there are about twelveteenthousand products out there for leather, but you asked so I gave it to you.

Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner

Z-10 Leather in a Bottle

Do you mean that the stain is next to the seat (read: not on the leather) or it is on the leather?

Either way, I would suggest 303 Upholstery Cleaner and Spot Remover. It'll work like a champ and with minimal effort.

I have a checkmate and the best product I have found to clean the cloth section of the seats is actualy the MINI branded upholstery cleaner. The enzymes in it have removed grease, oil, and just about anything else that has founds it way on the seats. Very impressed with it.

lol! i did the same thing about a month ago on my civic when the
tire place must have accidentally touched the power window button
and lowered the window just enough that there was little wind noise
(i listen to my stereo pretty loud) that i couldn't hear but enough
for water to seep through during the wash.

i just used some Griot's interior cleaner and dab'ed it. there weren't
much stains or anything on mine, more like water splashes... then
clarity'ed the window on the inside. door left open for 30min or so
to dry.
