Thanks to all at the MOTD Prima Wash Tent!

Just wanted to give out a big thanks to everyone I met at the Dragon for such a good time!
Our Prima Wash Station tent and surrounds were definitely a fun place to be (yes, even when it was raining).
Not only did I thoroughly enjoy meeting many of you OCDers (and soon to be converted OCDers ) in person, but it was fun playing with all the products with you too. There's no denying that MINI owners are the creme de la creme of car enthusiasts and the most fun to boot!

My apologies for those who asked for an item we ran out of... next time we'll be sure to have LOTS more waffle weave towels in particular.

It was also great to be able to mess around with products and techniques with OctaneGuy & the PC. I hope our demos proved helpful to you all.

Speaking of Richard, a special thanks for his post of my MOTD picture in his Trim Sauce thread the other day... indeed, a lovely photo! It's a shame he doesn't have better focusing skills. And those of you who commented on the topic are also very funny... I'd be flattered except that I know you're all just trying to get me to put Hydro on sale... Nice try!

Last, sorry if I missed any questions directed a me while I was gone... I'll try to sift through everything answer you as quickly as I can (including all the PMs).

On behalf of Prima, Detailers Paradise, Coopersport.com and ShowCarDetailing.com (aka OctaneGuy),
thanks again for a great event!!!!

-Heather

I was expecting Heather to be dressed like the car wash gurlz in the Hammer and Coop episode - but other than that, it was OK I guess.

If you had been using a SPONGE - THAT would have let me down...

My conversion to OCD detailing freakiness is complete. I officially hate sponges. Except Spongebob. He rules. Unless he tries to wash my car. Then I'll send him to sponge heaven.

Oh yeah - I stayed off property, but my cabin had a HOSE that REACHED THE DRIVEWAY... And a lobster pot that made a fine bucket. And I brought my DP mitt and Mystique and towels and wheel brushes. And I washed Blimey in the rain. Twice.

Heather, Richard and Jason it was a pleasure meeting and talking with you over the few days that I was there.

Richard thanks again for the WOW, it's really an amazing product.

Heather, I'll being looking for the 2oz bottle. JK! but thank you for the history of DP. My business mind was really enjoying it. Now just work on that east of the Mississippi project.

I never saw the final outcome but how did Epic measure up over the other two on the Classic?

Paul

Hey Paul!

It was fun talking with you too. (btw, I really liked that beer you brought in the growler... yum!)

DP East is in the works... give us a year or so (or 5 or 10!).

As for the wax test on the Classic, we never really had a chance to do a full review. Suddenly the day was over and we had to work like mad to tear down the booth and pack up. So, Richard had to just Epic over the whole thing, including the wax test area. So, we never had a chance to finish! Sad, but necessary. It wouldn't been fun to pull the car out and look at all three waxes. (for those reading along, we had P21S Carnauba, Prima Epic, and Zymol Vintage in three different sections of the hood of a Classic)

Perhaps we'll have a chance to do a similar test at MINIs on the Mountains!

Heather - great to finally meet you!!! It was nice to buy some products in person and take them away instead of waiting impatiently for the delivery.

Thanks to you and everyone for supplying the wash station and products for us to wash. I never thought I'd be washing my MINI in a light rain (okay, who am I kidding, yes I did) but it was great that there were hoses available to wash all that stuff that nature dropped on my MINI overnight.

oh yeah, i love the new spray heads (yes, it's been a while since I ordered anything).
