Wax or Detailer Used

Hey all,

I was wondering what type of wax everyone is using to detail their car with. Since I've purchased my Mini, I have not placed any wax on the car, only a detailing solution called "Ice" from Turtle Wax. I will probably take it soon to an auto-detail shop to get that deep shine, before the winter season, but for right now, what is a quick wax or detail solution which will get rid of or at least mask the water stains?

to get out water stains you will have to use Cleaner wax.
I like meguiar's.
Once you've used the cleaner wax, then goto a nice carnauba wax. I still recommend the meguiar's

The battle between Zaino and Meguiars continues...

For my wife and I it's Meguiars hands down. I just got my mini in March and tried Meguiars NXT on her and it's been doing pretty good. Nothing does as good as a good old fashion waxing. But the NXT goes on real easy and comes off real easy. Seems to last for about a month. We live in a townhouse without a garage so we really like how simply and fast the NXT makes waxing the car.

I think the key here is that the question was about something that goes on quick. The initial setup of a good base coat of Z-6, Z-2 and Z-5 of Zaino is not so quick. After that, it's a breeze.

And, I don't think I've seen anything that compares to the wet shine look of Zaino. I use it on both my all black MINI and my all black Lincoln Navigator. Awesome results. (and the battle rages on...)

I've used both NXT and Zaino, as well as a number of other Meguiars products.

Zaino is clearly better. Whether it is worth the huge price premium over Meguiars is a much more difficult question. I will probably buy more Zaino when the current supply runs out, but I won't like what I have to pay for it.
