if you watch as he red lines the gears, or at least comes close his speed seems a bit low, or atleast what it seems to me. in the description it says he has 17% reduction pulley from alta, the alta CAI filter replacement, and flap removal of the JCW air box, which makes me think something is wrong.
i run an 05 mcs with borla aggressive catback, jcw airbox with flap still on (until today ) and that's all the performance work ive done. however through experience and extremely hard driving on a daily basis i know for a fact my gears red line at the following.
1st 40
2nd 70
3rd 90
4th 110
havnt pushed 5th or 6th around town.
anyone have anything they like to share to help me understand why my gears on a less modded car would have such a difference, please post

Reason: rmvd refrnce to excssive spd so thread may stay open.
Didn't look at the link, but the '05+ has lower gearing than '02-04.
Modding has nothing to do with gearing. Gearing can be affected by tire size - taller than OEM will read slower MPH, shorter than OEM will read higher MPH. Speedos can also vary 5+%.

As Eric said..your mod has nothing to do with the gearing.
However, your mod has something to do with time.
Like from what you mentioned...
1st 40 - 69
2nd 70 - 89
3rd 90 - 109
4th 110- 999
Perhaps faster than before your upgrade.
