Yes it's true...I made it to 50.
I'm still amazed how quick this trip was.
18 was just a blink of an eye ago...and I remember thinking how old 30 was...and wondering if it was remotely possible for me to live long enough to actually reach 30. I fooled em all
People say you are as old as you feel. There is some truth to that statement, but years on this planet do take a toll
I'm extremely fortunate to have a great family and special friendships.
That my friends...... IMHO is the secret of life. All other things come and go ( money, possessions...etc...etc) .
At the end of the day.... it's the people who are part of your life.... that makes life... a beautiful experience.
Have a great day all.....cauz I intend to....as well !!!!!!!
Peace,
D

Yes. I feel OK but that guy in the mirror don't look so hot anymore. Darn trick mirrors!

Absolutely true. You are blessed. And your trick MCS ain't so bad either.

Why don't you just take the whole week to celebrate? Afterall how many more times do you get to mark down the birthdays in half century increments. Awe shoots take the whole rest of the month to celebrate. Why not.
>>
>>Peace,
>>D
Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Dennis!!! There may not be a "Can't wait 'til 50 club!" , but it seems you've gotten there with style and grace. May we all do the same. God speed.
Happy birthday to U..happy birthday to U...Happpyyyy Birthhhhday happppyyy birthhhhday..Happy birthday to U.
Can U feel the tension of the music? I sing it with my high voice as I can, hope you have a good health and creativity in life. That's should make you happyyyyy! Volla...
Your note was a great way to start the day. Here's to a happy one and more from a guy just west of you (Iowa City) and a few blinks older (54 in October).
Here's a further slant on a nice thing about adding years. When I was 30 I thought of myself as immature. That was sometimes a problem. Now that I am in my 50s I still am but people find it sort of endearing: I am now just a fun loving eccentric. At this rate I should be really admired at 80!
I asked the MA at Bill Jacobs if I was pretty compared to other Mini buyers. He was, of course, diplomatic but guessed the average age to be 30s and 40s. I think the national average is said to be lower. But hey, I think Mini ownership shows a lot of life.
Peace and lots of Good Motoring to You!

Happy B-Day D.
Fifty is not that big of a deal. I just turned 50 in July
without a problem. I also love my Mini. At the moment
I am without one, though, since I traded mine in on a new
one. Should only be another month or so.
Have a great day!
Happy Birthday! I just turned 60 a few weeks ago proving in can be done. The years from 50 to 60 also go by in a blur.
Only about a week now until my 60th birthday present arrives....my CR/W MINI.
Already had a few friends my age ask, "how can you get in and out of it". I guess they don't believe me when I tell them it's no problem.
Just always remember,
Its like my Grandaddy always told me,
Old and Mean ALWAYS beats Youth and Exuberance.
Happy 50th
Hope your still Motoring in 50 more.
