I usually limit myself to 6 beers if I'm going to be on the Internetz.

May want to break-up your different um "questions" and file them in separate (and more specific places). https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...play.php?f=196 is a good place for engine and transmission modding questions.

You already have a really good intake, no point in replacing it with a crappy ebay one.

P.......U.........I........... No sweat changing from RP to Mobile One and JCW's are great, if you want alittle more put a little smaller pulley on it and leave the intake alone. PSish: Then get a Jan Tune.

That intake is for a regular Cooper (JustaCooper), not an "S".
Keep your JCW...it's gooood.
I'd keep the Royal Purple running, but that's just me. Nothing wrong with Mobil 1...or switching between them.
UHP's are the king of budget tires. If you ever want something with a little more grip, try Falken Rt615's or Hankook Ventus RS-2's

Me personally I would stick with the RP. But I've always ran it and it has dyno proven results of more power. I've never seen the results on the internet, but I have in person on more than 1 occasion.

Can't imagine why you want to go from RP to Mobil 1? I just went the other direction. I've picked up btwn 1 and 2 mpg right away.

I used to proclaim M1 to the high heavens but after reading how the API changed their rating involving synthetics, I think I may try RP or stick with my RedLine I currently have. The American Petrolium Institute supposedly lowered their requirement to be considered a "full synthetic". So what does M1 do? They lower the quality of the oil. Now granted, this is going off what I read posted in here (I think, or was it the Subie forum?) a little while ago concerning oil.

There is a thread around on oil analysis that has Robin Casady (perhaps?) reporting on his series of tests. His oil lab analyst likes RP and BioSyn based on what he sees in his lab tests from all sorts of vehicles. BioSyn is his first choice, but he told me that RP was excellent, also. He thought it was worthwhile getting away from M1.

Search around the oil threads and you'll find this and more.

Like I said I've run this in every car I've had for the past 4 years and I LOVE it. I'm actually looking for the MTF that RP makes for the MCS trans, haven't found it yet.

Sorry, Highlife. You're going to have to learn to use the search function. Good luck.
