Wheel change questions?

Hello,

I have a 2012 Countryman S and I'm planning to change the wheels. I'm thinking about some Varrstoen ES2. But, I have never changed wheels on a car so I don't know much about that! I am currently running stock wheels with 205/55R17 tires and I want to keep these tires. The Varrstoen wheels are 17x7 wheels and have an offset of 35mm and a center bore of 73.1, question is, will they fit my car right on or do I have to buy additional things so the wheel can fit my car? The other question is: will my tires fit right in this wheel? Also, I do not know much about the tire pressure monitoring sensors like how to transfer them to this set of wheels.. Any tips, suggestions, additional info I should know it will really be helpful!

Haven't heard of Varrstoen before. Do have experience with them? I'm browsing wheels right now, but am having a difficult time finding something I like because of the slightly odd 5x120 lug spacing. The lug spacing itself isn't odd, but trying to keep in the 18x8 dimension is challenging. BMW uses the same lug pattern, and so most wheels are larger than what I want.

Stock center bore is 72.5mm. See if you can find a metal (not plastic) hub centric spacer to take up the gap. Problem is that you may have a hard time finding one for that .6mm difference, as that makes for a pretty thin piece of metal. Though, I haven't looked, myself.

Stock wheel width is 7", which makes your Varr's the same size. So, yeah, no issues there.

Stock offset is 50mm. A 35 mm offset will push the wheels to the outboard by 15mm (easy to calculate, since it's the same size wheel), which should make for a good looking fit, assuming they don't rub. If you aren't lowering the car, should be fine. If you are, you may want to research a bit about 17x7 et35 fitment on our R60s.
