How do we grow our membership
What do you guys think about "cruising in" to a local joint as away to gain some visibility to other MINIs? We just pick place with lots of drive by traffic, pick night and time, and show up every week in June.
Down here, some spot along EastPointe drive would be good. Can you guys think of any places in Fairmont or Morgantown?

Let me see if some advertisers or the newspaper would be willing to do some write ups about our club. I wonder if KIA would let us use their lot? It would be some attraction for their cars too! I'm on it!
Good idea, Jim! Thanks.

Twiggy is broken.
I can't make Friday. Was changing brakes tonight and the rotor retaining torx bolt stripped out. It was stuck tight. Have to weld a bolt onto the head and remove it that way I guess. And it all was going so smoothly too. so I have one side completed with new EBC pads and rotor and one side with just pads.
Sorry.
Sorry.

Our club organizes monthly runs and uses a Facebook page to let people easily communicate. Everyone is always posting pics of their minis in cool places and such. Then when you meet other minis you can just tell them to look the club up on Facebook. It just provides a much easier communication and event management functionality than trying to use just forums.

Anyone interested in doing a Morgantown area version? I was thinking maybe a Sabraton, WV Burger King so it just off the highway. If you're interested let me know by tomorrow at 3:00pm. I think we certainly need to get off of NAM alone. If the NAM had a way to favorite a group then it would be fine to use this alone but I have to search for the group each time and it is a pain. Facebook or meetup.com (meetup.com allows members to send invites to its members) seems to be the way to go. I know that we all hate to adapt to new things and I'm certainly not a regular member, but I'd love to become one. My biggest difficulty is keeping up with the updates as they come up with the crazy NAM system. Maybe it is just me I don't know.
