Saw an Oxy blue at Smith's Motorcars...

Just wondering if you traded yours in for an Audi MINIesq ?
It was there all last week, but I didn't see it Saturday. They
may have had it out for a test drive <g>.

Hope it wasn't you <g>.

Not me. I love my baby too much to trade it in for an Audi....although my boyfriend (proud owner of 2 Audis) would probably like me to. I'm suprised to hear that there was a used O2 Blue around here, though.

This one had white stripes...

Drove by it this evening while doing the collection portion of my route.
It's still there... maybe you should go ahead and buy that one, so you
can have a spare Miniesq <g>....

As a strange coincidence I was speaking to my brother today and he told me that his boss purchased a mini. When he gave me more information I realized he was speaking about the mini that had been mentioned here. My brother has been thinking about getting a mini and said that besides just looking like he copied me, now he looked like he copied his boss.

They've updated there stock <g>.

Now (As of Saturday) , they have a red/white, and a yellow/white in stock.

I've got a feeling they have some kind of a deal with a MINI Dealership in
Ohio or someplace that sends over used models to them to sell. That way
the dealerships keep moving new product.

Gives me hope that someday Smith's might break down and add MINI
to there new product line eventually. (Heck, a fellow can dream , cant' he?).

they purchase them from MAG (MINI dealer in columbus). so as wvphoto said, you can expect their prices to be higher, they have to get their share of the profit, and also charge for the convenience.

I'm the 2nd owner of my MINI it was from MAG(midwestern auto group), but brought to Smith and sold new. I have all the paper work from its journey.

id love to see them become a MINI dealer, but it would def. be the first I've seen that doesnt have BMW attached with it. I've heard from several friends that their Mercedes service leaves a lot to be desired, howver

I think you have to have a BMW dealership to get a Mini dealership....and even then I guess it's pretty difficult. A dealer at MAG told us that, to get their Mini dealership, BMW made them build a whole off-sight building just for Mini and BMW. MAG sells some impressive high end cars (Bentley, Lotus, Porsche, etc) but it was only Mini that made those kind of demands.

I'm sure thats true, I've been to all 3 dealers in Ohio and also one in Richmond. Everyone had a separate MINI building or floor.

We are the ones that got the Mini Ox Blue, funny thing is that MiniEsq's brother didn't tell me, that she had almost the same color. He just told me he was looking for a Racing Green one for his trips up to Morgantown. I think that Smith gets them from the dealer in Pitts. At least that is where our came from.
