an offer from COOPERation

For those of you who don't know. COOPERation is a member on the forums here who has an amazing ability to take your MINI and "cartoonize" to look like an animated car that belongs on Pixar's Cars the movie. He noticed our little spot of the world here on NAM and offered to help us with our own logo. (so that those who choose, can proudly display it in our sigs) He showed me a very interesting logo he did for one of his clients which bears a strikingly similarity to our club here..So if any of you want to see if he can help us out, let me know and we'll se what we can do.

By the way, here is the animation he did of my car...simply amazing and VERY detailed! (he even got my sidemarkers and license plate right)

Here is a link to the thread that shows off all of his masterpieces. For everyone that has more stock MINIs you'll probably find you a good match on there. Postal, and Robinitis, and MINIesq....i see some that matches ur alls pretty well. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...ad.php?t=71003

I like the idea! Obviously, the car needs to be changed to a Mini but it looks good!!! Any chance we could also stick the New River Gorge Bridge between those two hills in the back? Or does everyone think that's too regional and not enough West Virginia as a state??

And, SnYpR, your car makes an adorable cartoon! (Wait...probably not good to say your car - typically so intimidating - is adorable! Sorry!)

pm him or post in the link i gave in the original post. I simply put in a request and politely asked him to cartoon my car. He did so without even asking for anything in return, i feel like i should paypal him or donate something in his honor, lol.

he just send me another message. he updated my cartoon to include the blacked out beltline and my raised cowl scoops. how awesome is that?? lol...sad thing is, his cartoon looks better than my actual car..

The logo idea is a great one,

and I love COOPERation's mini pics <g>.

If he's willing to help I think that's a great idea. I've been researching having spotter
cards made up, and this would help us to look more professional.

Thanks in advance for anything he's able to do....

The cows need to go from the logo....

I thought they were cute until all this "mounting" talk....

And now I can't bear to look at them.

here is a sample batch. COOPERation said he can change cars, colors, models take this and that and combine them from each one... so many choices....this is gona be hard i think, lol

i know gold and blue are basicallly the WV state colors, but it reminds me of WVU...so im feeling green and white, lol. so maybe we can take one from each...like a green and blue...or just stay away from those colors all together..whatever u guys think.

I vote for the 4th down on the right. I like the oval as a general shape for a logo. I'm staying out of the "color wars" that may ensue...
But hey, both my cars are yellow.

P.s. I'm gonna be offline for a bout 10 days starting friday, I trust all fellow mini drivers to make these decisions if I'm not around...

Great work Cooperation !!!

Blown away by the options <g>.
I'm partial to the top left for some reason.... I think it would make a great t-shirt.
Also really like the one below it. I really like the subtle "hills" over the Country Roads.
(I'm wondering how it would look with a different MINI... similiar to the one above it,)
in the Blue and Gold ? I know there's the whole WVU / Marshall coloring confusion,
but I think the Blue and Gold makes a bit more sense <g> in West Virginia...

Maybe the Green and White logo could be for the "Huntington Chapter" <g>.

I can't get over how good all these options look though.

They all look so great!!! I'm really impressed.

As for the color wars....

I'm always going to vote green because, well, I'm a big Marshall fan (and I also just generally love that darker color of green on these). However, I don't want to alienate anyone by making this a WVU-Marshall thing. There is enough of that in this state as it is....and, to be honest, I'm a bit torn myself on the color wars. I know blue and gold are WV's state colors (which I hate because it's WVU colors) but we seem to have more Marshall people than WVU people in the group. Still, I hate that everything has to turn into the WVU-Marshall thing....is there any way to make the colors different entirely for that reason? I think these look great in these colors but it's inevitable....

Or, would it be possible to take the 3rd one down on the left, change the background graphic to the gray/black Mini logo colors (leave the state yellow maybe) and make the left car blue with gold bonnet stripes and the right car green with white bonnet stripes? That would include everyone and kinda show the connection of the two ends of the states. If those changes could be made easily enough, that would be my favorite....

Otherwise, my favorite is the top right.

I think the 5th ones down on both the right and left make great looking logos - I prefer the colors on the right but I like the WV stuff on the left. I also think the bottom left looks good (but I think I'd prefer something WV specific - twisty roads or hills or the outline of the state) and I like the 2nd on the left but, like GonePostal, I'd like to see the different version of the car.

Oh...one more thing (as if I wasn't chatty enough in that last post)...

I like all of these logos better than the original one with the cows!

I guess I am drawn to the first one in the second row. The one with a caricature of a green and white MINI. It is not so specific in the model or stripes. The hills are there, and there is the illusion of speed.

im leaning towards the top right as well. color or model of car really isnt an issue with me. I like how its called country roads, and it actually shows a narrow, winding road. As for color, i think blue and white wouldnt be a bad combo or compromise.

howdy from 10 miles north of WV and from a Shepherd College, ooops Shepherd University graduate.

I took some of the suggestions and re-worked a few things...

Suggestions still welcomed.

I vote top right.. I like the wheel movement and the twisty road. The WV wings logo is cool, too. Great job!!
I also like what you did with the colors on the third down on the left. Nice compromise.

Again , great job...

I'm partial to the top two on the right. Maybe it's the blue color
bias I have.. but like the layout. Keep finding myself torn between
the curvy road, and the hills <g>.

Also like the winged one with the wvu/marshall MINI's... but for
some reason they appear darker than the previous set you uploaded,
and it's hard to distinguish the green. (May be my monitor).

Oh, and since you attended college in WV, you know your pretty
much an honorary West Virginian, even if you live across the border
now <G>....

After seeing the new ones...

I vote for the top two on the right! (put some black bonnet stripes on the second one down and I'm lovin' it....but probably only because that would look an awful lot like my Mini )

Wow thanks for all of the hard work. I think my favorites are those with the mountains, color not really too much of an issue.

i agree, top two on the right for me, and the WVU/marshall one is pretty entertaining too.
