Today...around 2pm....on 8th Street in downtown Huntington....
I saw a gorgeous almost sage green (a much lighter green that British Racing Green) Mini with a black roof. I think the license plate was BCR MINI....
AND HE WAVED!!

I saw a yellow cooper parked in one of the pullman square garages this past saturday after Marshall's graduation. didnt have anything to write a note with, though.
This isn't so much of an actual Mini sighting (although I did see a yellow Mini with a black roof traveling west on I64 between 9 and 9:30 this morning)....but I had a Mini "hearing." On the radio this morning (94.5 out of Charleston), I heard my first ever Mini commercial!!!

This weekend seems like I saw new MINI's all over the place.
Nice looking yellow with Checkerboard roof in Huntington near Frostop.
Recieved (and gave) one of my first waves to a North Carolina MINI on I64
west bound around 1:30 pm near Milton. (Silver w Black stripes).
Shortly after this one, saw a dark colored one heading eastbound in the other lane.
(Waved at this fellow, but the wave was intercepted by the van beside me... boy did
he look confused <g>)
Was sighted myself by several non MINI owners who gave the car much love.
(Makes up for not having it for a MONTH <g>. Man , I love my car <g>.)

Tons lately: med blue mcs w/ black and gray bonnet stripes, red/w mc, red/w white bonnet stripes mcs, silver w/ black bonnet stripes.
Makes me feel like we should round up the troops and just do a run to a restaurant and see if we can grab more people..
i passed a MINI on 64 a couple weeks ago. I have forgotten what it was..but it was a shade of blue. I received a wave from both driver and passenger from outside their windows. I waved back. hopefully they saw me, but my windows are so dark, and being that far way on 64...i doubt they were able to. :( one of the many downsides to have 5% tint.
I saw 2 today.....a blue Cooper S with a white roof heading west on I64 and then getting off at the Hurricane exit around 3:15 or so....
And a red one with a white roof and white bonnet stripes heading east on I64 between the 29th St and Barboursville exits in Huntington just before 4pm.

I know this is supposed to be for mini sightings in WV but while in Columbus recently I saw a tye dyed mini, it was quite a sight. While I like my car this one was quite memorable.
I saw a yellow Mini at the Raven golf course at Snowshoe.....it just happened to belong to BCSki....
(and that red TT peeking through belongs to my boyfriend)

I again saw a nightfire red MINI...this time i passed it going the opposite direction on hal greer blvd just as i was leaving city limits towards the interstate. (they were headed in town.) I figured it was robinitis, so i threw up a big wave and.....NOTHING. at first, i was a little offended until i got fully around the car and saw that it wasn't Robinitis...it was a Cabrio!
I saw that one on I64 a couple of weeks ago! I'm surprised you got no response wave, though - they honked at me when passing on I64.

I was on I-81 just north of Martinsburg yesterday and was passed by a PW cabrio. Top down and lots of blond hair flying! She waved. My wife was with me, I think she understands.
Later, in Petersburg I saw a red one with white stripes heading towards Moorefield. I waved, he didn't. You can't win them all.
I am not sure but I think I caught a glimpse of a certain Elwood Blues in the lightening blue clubman, with silver stripes, as he passed me going toward the mall on 64 this afternoon. Also, I may pass him at the Hurricane city building every morning on the way to work. If not him than there is another very friendly clubman owner as he slowed to give a wave.
I've been heading down 119 for work lately and I've seen a plethora of different minis (I haven't been taking notes on these jobs - or else I'd have a list of colors).. they all looked brand new to me.
I am a new Laser Blue MCS owner. I have only spied a few Mini in this area. I saw a Chili Red one and a Pepper White one headed east into VA from Princeton on RT 460 yesterday. Seeing two within a mile is very rare down here.
i saw ellwood in his blue clubman s the other day, we were both heading towards charleston on 64, i passed him, noticed who it was, and we tagged together and followed each other until he turned off on the nitro exit..it was nice company for 10mins or so!
