As an avid bike rider I have wrapped my exhaust and has helped with high temps. I was wondering if wrapping the downpipe off the turbo would help? Has anyone attempted this with the turbo?
I had my Akrapovic DP ceramic coated (go this route instead) and YES it makes a HUGE difference with reducing temps and hot air in the engine bay. Ceramic coated cost about $50 and it's done for life and want chip or flake off.

I simply did a google search to find out who offers ceramic coating in my area. That's how I found the guy that does it for me. In fact, I brought in my roof rails and had those powder coated in black glass. Cost was $35.
