Des Moines' 3rd annual Cornball Run

Because Jared has not got to us in his run to post on the midwest sites. I am putting the information here. I have spoke up on the Eastern Iowa MINI forum to challenge them E.I.M vs C.O.R.N! Who is up for it?

Below are the details:

Des Moines' 3rd annual Cornball Run is coming up June 13th. The same as previous years, it's a 10-checkpoint road rally around Iowa's rural highways. We did add a new "secret minimum" time this year to keep us and you out of legal troubles. We hand out the checkpoints when the rally starts. Each team chooses the order they visit the checkpoints, and the route they take. First team to all 10 checkpoints and back (after the secret minimum time) wins the cash.

Entry fee is currently $55, but goes up in May and again in June so sign up now at cornballrun.com !

More info, rules, videos, and online registration at http://cornballrun.com

or email me if you have any questions. Thanks.

Thanks for posting it for me Zyamfier. I'd have made it here eventually.

You think you're gonna make it? I think we had two teams from NE last year, but not MINIs.

I am in the process of changing my schedule for work so that I can make it. Toss up between a family reunion in MN or Cornball Run in IA. You win. Will probably register tomorrow. Still have to find a co-driver. See you in June.

Sounds good. We had an EIM sign up today, so if you're looking for a CORN vs. EIM... Looks like you've got it.

I am registered and have my co-driver. Staying over in Omaha Friday night then on to Iowa on Saturday morning. Anyone else going to join me? You can't have the C.O.R.N. name for your team cause the "Kernel" just took it.
