The first SCCA Solo II autocross of the season at the new national site in Lincoln is fast approaching. Since this event is at the new national event site, and it also happens to be a week before the first National Tour Event to be held at the site, there should be a large number of entries and people from around the country (people are coming in from as far away as New Mexico).
If you are interested in running, a few things for this event that are new (these will be carried over to all LAP-N site events throughout the year):
1) Pre-Registration is currently listed as being required. This can be completed at Motorsportsreg.com
2) The starting time for this event has been moved back to 9:00am both days. This is a departure from the normal starting time of past NRSCCA events.
3) Cost has gone up a little bit to enable the club to use this amazing site: Non members are $40/day or $60/both days, SCCA member rate is $30/day or $50 for both days.
4) Saturday will be run by heats where each entrant will sign up for a run and work heat. Sunday will be run heats by class with assigned work heats.
5) Sunday will be a Region points event.
For more information, please checkout event information at the NRSCCA website
One additional item: At the same time as the NRSCCA event there will also be several Evolution Schools going on. On Friday there is a Test and Tune, Saturday is Test and Tune plus Dial-In, and Sunday is a Test and Tune plus Phase III class. If you are interested in attending any of these classes, go to the Evolution School website.
I know this is in conflict with the BMWCCA HPDE at Hastings, but if you are not attending that event and still need something to do this weekend, take a look at this AutoX event.
Thanks for reading, and hope to see a couple of local Mini folks at the event.

That is correct. Hopefully I will get out to the BMWCCA HPDE next year (or if they have another one this year)
