C.O.R.N Country and Omaha

Hi,

I had the opportunity to be in your area on Saturday and Sunday, I stopped at MINI of Omaha and I had a nice visit. Picked up the only DS/W 1:18 model of the R56. They have 10 left in LB and CR and a few of the smaller models.

What a nice MINI dealer you have in Nebraska, it is an asset. I talked with a new MA (John) who is getting into the MINI scene. Russ the Sales Manager and I talked as well as the F&I lady, I had to pay someone for the DS MINI.

The have a great selection of MCS and MC on the lot, but I suspect they will go fast.

On my drive back to the West on Sunday I saw two CR MINIs motoring towards Omaha from the Lincoln area, did you all have a MINI event in progress down in that area?

Nice visit, great wedding for family and very, very wet.

Great picture opportunities, here is one of the many I snapped at MINI Omaha.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Omaha. That's a great shot - I don't think I've walked down there to see it from that angle.

I dropped into Markel when I was in Omaha in July and was very impressed. The dealership is laid out fantastically well, the people were as nice as I expect Nebraskans to be (a nice change from some west coasters). The place is a credit to the city and the MINI network.

Damn. We rule. I do enjoy how openly they admit me, seeing as how I didn't get my car from them, and it's an '03. Motoring is life to these people, and it's easy to see.

Well, they can't hold it against you when you got the car 4 years before the dealership was open.
Sylens - are you somewhere on/near Arrowhead Lane in Bellevue?
Last time I was in Omaha, I saw an EB MINI parked a couple of houses down from my sister-in-law's place, how many EBs can there be in Bellevue?

Agro:

Not a lot, but I'm not the only one. I've seen another one driving around on base, which is where I live and work. Although, it might've been me; I tend to get out a lot, and a few of my friends live all over Bellevue, but I never really pay attention to which streets they live on, you know?

Long story short, I think I'm one of at least two EBs in Bellevue, but I got mine first, so it's all good.
