I'm wondering how the MC exhausts sound. I've found plenty of clips for MCS exhausts, but only a few for MC exhausts. Can any of you with aftermarket MC exhausts post clips? I'm particularly interested in the RSpeed and Miltek MC exhausts. A stock exhaust would be nice too. I'm waiting until August for delivery of my MC, so a stock exhaust clip would be handy for reference. Thanks! :smile:

There used to be a good thread specifically for Cooper exhausts, but it was never stickied to the top of the forum like the S one, and so it eventually became obsolete. It hasn't been updated since '03, since which time I believe hanger positions or something else on the bottom of the car has changed, meaning that only companies who have updated their designs can sell exhausts to '05 owners.
I haven't seen any sound clips posted lately for Cooper exhausts. The ones that I'm aware of are RSpeed, Helix13, Milltek, and (I think) Borla.
When I was researching exhausts for my '03, I posted in my local forum and found someone nearby who was nice enough to give me the keys to her Cooper with Borla exhaust and let me take it for a spin around the block! If you can "meet" the exhausts in person, that's by far the best way to go. Comparing sound clips is only so useful, because they're invariably recorded in different locations with different acoustics and different equipment.
